Advanced VSD technology

KAT(V) compressors provide an integrated solution designed to reduce energy consumption, with average electricity savings of up to 35%. To support energy efficiency across different operating requirements, the VSD range has been expanded to include the 18 VSD and 55 VSD models, covering both low- and high-capacity applications.

Mechanical drive system and optimal control

Mechanical drive system - The KAT(V) range is equipped with a highly efficient and reliable mechanical drive system, combining a recently introduced super premium efficiency IE4/IE3 class motor with a gearbox design proven for its high reliability.

 

Optimal control - The VSD variants are equipped with high-efficiency frequency converters, integrated into a dedicated cubicle to ensure stable operation at ambient temperatures of up to 50°C (122°F). These converters are combined with electric motors specifically designed for VSD operation, ensuring reliable performance even at low speeds, with particular attention to motor and compressor cooling.
