KyungWon’s KYF range is a comprehensive line of filters designed to improve compressed air quality, protect equipment, and support stable production processes. The range combines particulate filtration and coalescing stages to effectively remove solid particles, oil aerosols, and odors generated in compressed air systems.

 

Covering flow capacities from 0.8 to 196 CFM, the KYF range includes compact models as well as high‑capacity flanged housings suitable for main distribution lines. Standard connection configurations facilitate integration into both new and existing installations. Smaller models feature corrosion‑resistant die‑cast aluminum housings with internal anodized treatment, ensuring long‑term performance and durability. Overall, KYF filters provide a reliable foundation for compressed air treatment systems and are designed to operate effectively in combination with dryers and air receivers.

At the heart of KYF is a five-level concept that combines particulate and coalescing media. The series supports a wide range of particle filtration and coalescence grades, allowing users to tailor air quality to process requirements. In addition, the progressive layers capture coarse dust, fine particles, oil aerosols, and vapors, helping to achieve low residual oil content.

Robust filter construction - KYF housings are engineered for industrial service, featuring rugged cast bodies and secure connections ranging from PT 15A up to large‑diameter flanged interfaces. This robust construction withstands typical compressed air operating pressures while protecting downstream components from contamination.

 

Efficient removal of particles, oil aerosols and odors - The KYF element structure is designed to capture a wide spectrum of contaminants. Coarse and fine particulate layers retain solid particles, while coalescing media agglomerate oil aerosols into drainable droplets, reducing carryover into the piping system. Additional stages support the reduction of oil vapors and odors, contributing to improved air quality and extended service life of dryers, valves, and pneumatic tools.

Easy maintenance with differential pressure indication - KYF models are available with a built‑in differential pressure indicator, allowing quick monitoring of element loading and timely replacement. This helps maintain low pressure drop and stable air quality while avoiding unnecessary premature element changes.
